Maggie found out in her DOS meeting that the CVB will be increasing advertisement in Des Moines, Denver and Kansas City

            Also the other Downtown Hotels are struggling

Maggie to pull Swimvitationals from daylight & there will be a few changes to the Swim Coach block

 

Maggie received a list of the guests that were here for the Grand Opening

            -Will run discount rooms at $69 on Sun June 8^th

            - John made the link & Mike Pratt is making the email blast

 

May stayed the same

            -picked up 20 rooms on the 30 & 31

June down a little

July unchanged

 

Berkshire did not sell out the city

            -Should be getting a contract back soon for next yr, June 16^th they can start making reservations

 

Tenaska is not going to pick up will hold to 80% attrition

 

Added group June 23-26

 

July showing good pick up & waiting on a few rooming lists

 

Rate Changes:

After August 4^th drop rate to $129 weekday & $99 weekend

 

6/18 – 2 night minimum

6/19 left blackout

6/28 2 night minimum

7/1 3 night minimum

7/2 2 night minimum

 

7/21 $169
